Agile Marketing Workshop 2.0 now available for groups of 5-20 people.  See calendar below for availability in February and March.  Email me at jim@agilemarketing.net for more information or to schedule a workshop at your organization.

Several years ago, I put together an Agile Marketing Workshop.  I trained approximately 10 organizations using the slides, exercises and other materials that I created at that time. Then, as happens, I got busy with some other projects, working for over 3 years as the CEO of one of the fastest growing companies in our area, InDemand Interpreting.  After leaving InDemand late last year, I now have a chance to get back to teaching Agile Marketing, and recently I completed an overhaul of the workshop, expanding it from 2 days to 3 days, and adding at least fifty percent new material.  I taught it last week at a company in the Midwest, and from the feedback I received, it was a big hit.

My approach has been a combination of lecture and slides with generous amounts of hands on experiences.  The course is designed for teams of 5-20 people who are ready to adopt Agile Marketing.  At the end of the three days, they will have written hundreds of user stories, built two backlogs, a marketing backlog and also a High Tempo Testing backlog.  They will have held their first Sprint Planning Session, as well as their first High Tempo Testing prioritization session, and they’ll be ready to run their first Sprint.  I also present material on how to hold a Sprint Review and Retrospective, and how to sustain Agile Marketing.  Here is an outline of the new workshop:

Day One

  • The Case for Change
  • Agile Marketing Overview
  • Scrum 101
  • Agile Marketing Product Owners
